Wedding - 23rd July 2005 at the Sanctuary of Our Lady, Mellieha
These are some photos of my sister’s wedding that was held on the 23rd July 2005. She has been living in America since 2003. Paula and Bob live in Wichita, Kansas USA. They had their civil wedding in November 2004 in USA but she always wished to have a religious wedding here in Malta.
Being that Kansas lacks the sea, Paula wanted to have her wedding as close to the sea as possible. So I arranged that the mass would be done at the Sanctuary in Mellieha. While the reception was held at a private beach, she arrived on a boat and was greeted by family and friends with a candle lit atmosphere.
Approximately 150 pax were seated on round tables and a bbq was offered along with other foods. Her honeymoon was an extension of her stay in Malta with family.
I hope this information is enough and that you enjoy publishing these photos…I sure would enjoy seeing them and so would my sister Pauline.
