We
based at Club Med Lindeman Island and did day tours
to White Haven Beach, Airlie Beach and Great Barrier
Reef.
There
was so much to see and do. The island was full of activities
and the food was excellent!

Reason
for choosing this destination:
|
Because
we wanted to see part of the country we live in that
we both had never seen before but wanted to. It was
cost effiecient and well spoken about from others!

was the weather?

Hot!
Very warm, hence so much time in the pool!

In
the Superior Spa Bath Room Honeymoon Suite on Lindeman
Island!

What
did you do?
|
Each
day was a new adventure!
We
did aqua aerobics and played water polo on most
days and sun baked alot at Lindeman!
Went
snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef, visited hamilton
island along the way. Went on the flying trapeze at Lindeman
Island.
Had
a private picnic on the beautiful Whitehaven Beach where
we were exclusivly picked up and brought back by a private
helicopter.
Went
on a doughnut! - behind an out of control jet ski at
Airlie Beach!
Ate
heaps because the food at Lindeman was excellent!
We went on a sunset sail too around Lindeman.
That was beautiful!

best parts?
|
Being
able to wake up and not think about what we have left
to do for the wedding!
No
seriously, it was all great. The snorkelling at the
great barrier reef was magic, as was the private picnic
on Whitehaven.
The
helicopter ride was great as was the treatment from
the staff. Being a honeymoon couple was once in
a life time experience and we loved it!

biggest regrets?

Not
spending any time on Hayman Island while we were there.

suggestions/warnings you would like to pass on to
couples visiting the same destination?
|
Lots
of stairs if you want a view! No room service
so you can't be lazy!
Eat
when they provide food cause buffet is once food out
let. But it's great food.
