Do get everything in writing with all of your service providers.
This will eliminate any misunderstanding as to what you paid
for and what you will get in return

Do attach 'thank you cards' to the souvenir. You will save
up on time and postage. You can thank special persons by phone
or in person, after the wedding.
3.
Do accept your parents' ideas, but remember this is YOUR wedding.
4.
Do break-in your bridal shoes well before the wedding.
5.
Do remember to give a small gift to each other before the wedding.
6.
Do take some time to relax with your partner before the 'big day'.
7.
Do make sure you eat on your wedding day. Just don't indulge
into any heavy meals, but rather try eating lightly throughout the
day.

8.
Do carry an emergency kit with extra lipstick, needle and thread,
white chalk, eye drops etc.

9.
Do keep the rings in a safe place or in the hands of a responsible
person such as the bestman.
10.
Do give each other a gentle kiss at the end of the ceremony and
don't even think about using your tongue! :)

Do appoint guests or someone else to ring bells as you leave church.
12.
Do put disposable cameras on the guest tables and around the reception
hall and collect them at the end of the reception. Rest assured
you will get more precious pictures to put in your album.

Do offer your photographer and videographer a complimentary
meal. They've been out of their home for long hours and cannot
leave your wedding to go and eat something.

Do make a list of the group photos you want taken with special people
and hand it over to your photographer before the wedding. Your
wedding day will be full and exciting and this will ensure that
you do not forget anyone.
15.
Do make a kids' table with colouring books and washable markers
if you are having a lot of children at your wedding reception.
16.
Do make use of the bridesmaids'
bouquets to decorate food tables at the reception.
17.
Do thank your guests for coming to your wedding.
18.
Do remember to thank your parents for all the support they have
given you especially during the last months of preparation.
19.
Do make your own vows after the wedding, print, frame and hang them
somewhere in your new home where you can both glance at them and
remind yourselves of the promises you made.
20.
Do freeze the top tier of your wedding cake and eat it on your first
anniversary.
