Alison and Brian

Engagement Date:  11th September 2004

Wedding Date:  8th September 2007

We have known each other for six years.  We were both at Junior College and had great friends in common.  We started going out as a group but Brian and myself never really got close together, just the usual “Hi, how are you?”.

After a year Brian and I decided to go out together but it only lasted a few months and remained friends.   

Notwithstanding we were not going out together, I couldn’t bare the fact seeing other girls at the club dancing beside him.  It made me fuming.  I noticed that he was special and seeing other girls beside him really made me jealous.

In July 2001 we went to Gozo and on our way back he asked to give me a lift.  It was the 9th July, driving back home, when he asked me out.  I felt thrilled. It was a second opportunity that couldn't be missed.

On the 11th September 2004 we got engaged and I remember teasing him that he hadn’t proposed.  So when we were in Spain, me as a holiday and Brian on work duty, he proposed while skiing.  Wonderful feeling to be proposed!

8th September 2007 is our great day where I will walk down the aisle and become Mr & Mrs.
