I was tired and did not feel like partying the day I met my future husband! I went for a pizza with two close friends of mine. Then they dragged me for a drink in a bar. That day changed my life.
This guy came to chat me up, and when I found out he was Italian, I backed away as I only know 'si' and 'no' in italian. But he was persistent and I thank him for being so. We have a very nice relationship although a long distance one. Mind you, now I have learned some italian :))
We clicked instantly. Our relationship is full of sacrifices but all of them are worth it as I had never imagined I could be so happy with someone. They say you feel it when he is the right one and it is true as I felt it too!
More than a year has passed. We meet almost every month, sometimes more frequently and speak for two hours on the phone daily, not to mention a zillion smss as well! :)
we are getting married in September 2005 in Malta and then plan to go and live in Sicily. Its very challenging. I am quite looking forward to it although I will miss Malta, my family and friends for sure.
