Well,
it's really rather tawdry.
A
good friend of mine had joined Amnesty International
at University in Toronto because he thought it was a
good place to 'meet girls'.
Well,
he did. He got invited to a party at one of the
Amnesty girl's home and called me. Having nothing
to do on a Friday night I agreed to go. Well,
when we got there his theory was proved correct. Sixteen
women and just two guys!
I
met a girl, who I dated a couple of times. But we quickly
realized that it was a big mistake. In the interim,
however, I had become good friends with the first girl's
best friend, and well, as the stories go, that was Audrey.
We
dated for two years, got engaged for two years and have
now been married for over 10 years. We have two
children, Jeremi and Joseph and live happily not far
from where we met.
