So, we've been together for the past 9 years and 4 months. At that time I was only 16, while she was 14.
It was the 17th July 1993. Bye the way, 17 is supposed to be my unlucky number. So this is still a mystery for me, that I've met my wonderful, gracious girlfriend on that date!
So, we were at a barbeque at Marsascala. I had never seen that girl in my life. We were around 20 people at this barbeque. I knew everybody except her. But this didn't last long.
After some two hours we were there chatting with each other, and within another hour we knew everything about each other. Upon leaving she invited me to meet on the following day, although nowadays she still continue emphasising that it was me who did that!
