We met Sept 1994. I had made a bet with my best friend Gina that I would go out with him. I offered him a drink later in the night - he refused! I deleted him from my list. The same week he approached me...yuppie! He addressed me with my name - I was wondering how could he know my name.
We started chatting and reminded me that when we were 14 we used to be in the same group of friends. Anyways, we went to watch a movie as friends (Gina came too). Made a date for 7th January 1995 - why? Because I was going to Norway for 3 weeks and did not want to miss anyone.
Did not meet until... I changed my tickets and got back on 31st December 1994. I had sent him a postcard to change our date. At 11.30 pm I was at Alleys. He was there waiting. We started going out together. Our families objected due to complicated family reasons. We moved in together April same year. It was perfect - 1yr...2yrs...3yrs...July 1997 I got pregnant and on March 18th 1998 I had a baby boy (Jai).
We had a residence problem. We were staying with my mum until we bought a bigger place. I moved job too, in the same year! Luckily my boss gave me a big apartment for us to stay until we finish our house.
It was still great but a bit hectic with the job, kid, cash problems and new house to redo. But we made it, December 24 2000 we moved in - I was pregnant with our second child (Ned). Born April 2001.
Problems arouse and we broke up after 7years and 2 kids. 2002 was hell for the kids and me. Even for him.
Luckily we made it through this too. We got back together 26th December 2002 and planned to get married a month after. We got married 31st August 2003 (on his mum's birthday) at Olive Gardens. It was a casual wedding and everyone enjoyed it.
Went for a week to Switzerland with kids.
This is our 10th year together and I cannot imagine living with anyone else but him. We feel good together in anything we do. The kids are all our lives and we carry them wherever we go.

Good luck to all out there getting married. It's a hard job but if you are really willing to give up everything for your family it will definitely work.
