The Bar Manager
After two long relationships that went nowhere I decided to take a break and basically I felt convinced I'll never marry, telling my dad that he will never see another guy at home.
It was so bad that all that was left for me was to open a club against men!
To forget I decided to fill up my life with work. One night in November, I entered a nightclub and applied for a part-time job.
Having no experience, the bar manager had to train me until December!
I realised that he did not find me that good as all the other employees only needed a few days training! In fact later on I've discovered that it was only because he wanted me with him all the time that he did not fire me!
It was on New Years Eve 2001/2002. We were working hard behind the bar, customers didn't give us a break until the last 5 seconds and on 12.00am boom…he kissed me!
And we never parted since.
