The first time I met the love of my life was on Internet. It was a really rainy evening and I was bored to death. So I decided to go and chat.
The thing was that I did not like anyone. Most of the persons I chatted with were rude or completely stupid. I was going to stop when I begin to talk with this guy who seemed to be quite nice.
That evening I had nothing to do so I decided to ask him out. I know this sounds crazy to meet a guy after just 15 minutes on the chat but I said to myself: "Why Not?"
So we decided to meet in front of Ryan's in St Julian's. I was waiting and waiting, hoping that he was going to show off. Eventually he did and it happened to be somebody really attractive! We went for a drink and we didn't stop talking for 3 hours. I really liked this guy!
During the following weeks, we met each other often but none of us wanted to make the first move. We were both getting out of difficult relationships and were quite afraid of making the same mistake.
Eventually, about 1 month after I kissed him! It was just like a dream. And one year after he proposed!
We had to go out for a romantic meal and instead we went on the bastions of Mdina by night. He just told me that he couldn't live without me and that I was everything for him! He gave me a wonderful ring...I was so moved by his gestures, it was so romantic and so beautiful. The best day of my life!
And we are getting married in July 2004. Everything went so fast but I know that this is the thing I want the most in my life!
Our story is like a dream to me, everything is so perfect. We never fight; we just love each other all the time.
I wish that everybody could have this feeling in his/her life.
