We met at our part-time jobs in 2001. We were both in another relationship, his more serious than mine.
We immediately hit it off and decided to end both relationships.
We started to go out for drinks after work and things started to move on from there. After our first date we sms'ed each other the next morning saying we should do that again.
Believe me, SMS`s haven`t stopped yet!
We sms everything from good morning to each other to good night. We still work together. It is now his full time job and we get on great together, both at work and in our free time.
Last Easter we went to Ireland for a holiday and in one of the bars he popped the question. I thought that I had drank too many beers and was hearing things. So I asked him to repeat...and I immediately said "YES!".
Next day we drove to Dublin and bought the ring and sms'ed our parents that we were engaged.
Now it's been over a year and we enjoy every moment together. We are getting married next year and I assure you it will be a wedding to remember.
